[News] Guan You will be more cautious of his friends in future

Earlier this month, Taiwanese pop band, Mayday, drummer Guan You was implicated in a stolen car case and discovered that his two brand-new cars were originally looted vehicles. He was present yesterday at a press conference event organized by Mayday for their upcoming concert. The latter expressed that he will be more careful with choosing friends from now on, and will not trust people as easily as he did before.

The drummer clarified on the situation and explained that his friend was in debt since a year ago. Guan had bought the secondhand car from his friend at a cheaper price, and was inevitably implicated in this case. He had no prior knowledge that the cars were stolen vehicles. Investigations are currently being conducted. Taking this incident as an invaluable lesson, Guan expressed, "I will be more careful with choosing friends in future. I used to be very earnest and truthful to my friends, but not anymore. I am very thankful to these four very supportive brothers (Mayday band members)."
With a flourishing career, the band members of Mayday are believed to be paid a rather handsome sum of money. This piqued the public's interest of Guan's thrifty ways and he explained that the band had recently spent a bomb renovating their recording studio. He went on and encouraged the audience to purchase brand new cars in future.
Lead singer Ashin remarked that Guan is not an expressive person and needs help from others to explain his stance, "Guan just had two young daughters not long ago and his father-in-law is stricken with a serious medical condition, which explains his heavy medical expenses. We always feel that it is good to have enough to spend. However, Guan would always tell us that we should save whenever we can and prepare ourselves for a rainy day. But of course, don't save to the point of getting yourself into trouble. We are also very upset with what happened to him. Guan has always been a very cautious person; he has taught both Taiwanese and Singaporeans a lesson from his experience.
The drummer just turned 36 on July 28? he reassuringly commented that he remains unaffected by the case and hoped for his family and band members' happiness.

Goody-two shoes Guan You, was once a wild child who rode on a motorbike shared with two other friends. The trio took a night trip up to Yangmingshan in Taipei for its night scenery and some male bonding. His fellow band members, on hearing this, were bewildered when he first told them but he laughingly clarified that they were purely just friends.
Mayday will be in Singapore on August 28 and 29 to hold their D.N.A Mayday Creation concert. They took time off their busy schedules and held a press conference for the concert. The event was bustling with people as it was also attended by over a hundred fans. Band member Masa even likened it to a general meeting and invited Guan You to announce Mayday's financial report, causing the audience to burst into laughter.
Taking inspiration from their latest track, "Let Go", the band members were interviewed about the wildest things they have ever done. The members found this a tricky question to answer as they threw darting glances at one another. The responsibility was finally pushed to Guan You who got the ball rolling.
The supposedly docile drummer shocked everyone when he revealed that he once did many wild things in the past and therefore needed time to come up with an example. He proceeded to share his night tour experience he had with his high school classmates.The buddies shared a very close relationship and reportedly squeezed their bodies together to sit on the motorbike. After they were done with viewing the night scenery, they walked down the hill together with the bike in tow. Upon hearing Guan You's story, Cruz Teng who was the host for the event animatedly shared remarks with the drummer's fellow band members, "You're the kind that like this type of things? Three males? In which position were you seated?" The fans even joined in the ruckus and gave off loud suggestive exclamations.
Teng questioned Guan You and asked if he was still in contact with his two other friends, the drummer hurriedly clarified, "No no, we are purely friends." He added that this was all he could reveal, and left the crowd guessing.
Shi Tou wants to become a woman
With a DNA theme for the concert, Shi Tou, the lead guitarist, revealed that he would like to become a female, "I think that women are very puzzling beings. I saw my wife go through pregnancy, and this is something that is only accomplishable by women. I thought to myself, if I were a woman, would I have even more love than what she has for children and the world?"
Holding their first-ever two-night concert in Singapore
Sales of the Mayday concert tickets were met with such an overwhelming response they decided to add another performance on August 28. Incidentally, this date collides with the 1999 date of their first ever concert that was attended by a 100,000 strong crowd.
Guai Shou expressed that they are these two concerts will be slightly different from another as they would sing different songs; however, they are still in the planning stage. Following which, band member Ashin remarked that they would be performing older and lesser heard songs on the 28th, similar to the kind of songs they performed a decade ago in 1999.
Before the event came to a close, a reporter suggested the Mayday band members to put up a pole-dancing performance at their concert and faced a hesitant reply from Ashin, "We will carefully think about this suggestion, after all we are pushing for an idol image, something different from the past. There is very strong competition between bands like Fahrenheit and Lollipop. If our pole-dancing attracts too many people, we would have to hold three performances and we would not be able to take it!"

五月天這兩天抵達新加坡爲即將於八月底在當地展開的DNA創造演唱會宣傳，適逢鼓手冠佑生日，新加坡歌迷貼心發起慶生會，與五月天所有團員一同爲冠佑慶生，現場準備許多如聽音樂猜歌名、比手畫腳等趣味遊戲挑戰五月天的記憶力與默契，現場氣氛歡樂融洽、笑聲不斷，也讓近日忙於演唱會巡迴的五月天在不停奔波的旅程中可以稍微舒緩龐大的壓力，放鬆緊繃的神經。
而爲了替冠佑慶生，新加坡歌迷特別準備了“空白蛋糕”讓其他四位團員自由發揮，親自幫冠佑設計生日蛋糕，五月天果然不改KUSO本性，立即在蛋糕上畫下一台粉紅色汽車送給冠佑，不忘再度調侃壽星！而冠佑雖然再度被開玩笑，不過仍然感性許下生日願望，除了祝福DNA巡迴演唱會圓滿成功，當然祝福太太、小孩和團員都平安健康。團員們則是開玩笑的希望冠佑之後要慎選朋友，“冠佑也給我們上了一課，我們其他人也都學會要慎選朋友，所以也要慎選團員……”然而五月天感情好，開完玩笑後也認真的表示其實所有團員都很爲他感到擔心與心疼，希望冠佑之後能夠更加小心！
另外慶生會上五月天和歌迷互動玩遊戲，五月天必須抽出歌迷寫的心願卡並且完成上面的願望，吉他手石頭抽中歌迷寫下希望看到五月天跳舞的心願，所有團員立即伴奏“DNA”，讓石頭大秀舞技，也讓現場所有歌迷直呼過癮。
“演唱會之王”五月天DNA越演越烈，小巨蛋連唱四場驚人破紀錄後，新加坡奇迹式再加第二場 “一生至少要看一次的演唱會”。

五月天冠佑日前爲品冠演出品冠新歌《大富翁》MV，裏頭有開車和入獄場面，讓最近買到贓車的冠佑大歎：“早知道不拍了。”
冠佑最近被扯入贓車事件，他透過車商朋友出售車子，對方沒有給他款項，將一輛BMW 740Li抵押給他 ，沒想到是贓車。
五月天昨天來新宣傳8月的演唱會，團員不停挖苦冠佑，任何問題都扯到買車事件，讓冠佑又好氣又好笑。
像要介紹演唱會開場的賽車場面時，阿信就說：“請冠佑說一下，因爲最近聽到‘車’就想到冠佑。”然後又虧他在《大富翁》MV不只開車，還入獄。
冠佑說贓車事件已經進入司法調查。“我從事件中吸取一個教訓，就是要慎選朋友。我以前對朋友是把心都掏出來，現在我要把心門關緊。”
有記者問冠佑，五月天錢賺這麽多，幹嘛這麽省？他說：“最近錄音室裝修花了不少錢，不過以後還是直接買新車。”
瑪莎立即補上一句：“你要他自己講他是吝嗇，很難。”
問冠佑現在心情還會受事件影響嗎？他微笑說：“不會，因爲今天（28日）是我的生日。”話一說完，其他團員立即唱起生日歌。
兩場演唱會內容不一樣
五月天8月28日、29日開唱，10年前的8月28日，他們在臺北舉辦了第一場萬人演唱會。
所以8月28日的演唱會，他們將帶給大家驚喜，還保證兩晚演唱會將有不一樣的曲目。
被問及會不會跳舞，阿信搞笑地說：“我們的關節比普通人少一半，但會儘量滿足大家的要求，不過無法滿足也不退票。”
有記者建議鋼管舞，阿信露出爲難的表情：“我們畢竟現在是偶像團體，你也知道還有飛輪海、棒棒糖，要慎重考慮。”

因爲太信任人，五月天的冠佑日前不小心買到“贓車”，結果變成警方的“證人”。這次來新爲演唱會宣傳，冠佑成了記者會焦點，他說今後不會對人掏心，要關緊心門！
五月天原本下個月29日在室內體育館只開一場演唱會，但門票在短時間全售空，主辦單位又在28日多加一場，反應好，票已賣了約五六成。爲了回饋，滾石昨天還安排了購買兩場票的約120多名歌迷到記者會現場，使得記者會非常壯觀。此外，在933廣播員丁志勇活潑的主持下，記者會也一直充滿笑聲。
女歌迷抛內衣上臺
有記者問到不久前上海演唱會，熱情的女歌迷丟上自己的內衣，阿信先是一板正經說，以前看到西洋組合邦喬飛的歌迷熱情的抛東西上臺，他們也很向往，因爲沒有經歷過。這樣的舉動發生在中國，他有點意外。
冠佑則“爆料”笑嘻嘻說：“阿信拿著內衣到後臺時說，幹嗎丟這個上來，人上來就好了。”話畢，記者會上已是笑個不停。
石頭：女人是美妙的動物
在談到演唱會的內容上，團員相當的保留，爲的是給購票的觀衆一大驚喜。阿信說：“看完第一場的不要告訴要看第二場的，總之很精彩。如果一輩子未看過五月天演唱會，而只想要看一次，就是這一次了！”
演唱會會跳舞尋突破嗎？阿信打趣說：“土風舞還勉強可以，會儘量滿足大家。”冠佑上一回演唱會的《天鵝湖》讓人留下印象，會有更猛的突破嗎？他說：“《天》已是突破，再突破我受不了。”頓了頓說：“不能老是我突破吧！”有媒體建議跳鋼管舞來突破，團員們笑笑說：“會考慮考慮。
談到演唱會標題中的“DNA”，石頭給了感性的答案，表面如果可以改DNA，他想變成女人：“女人是美妙的動物，看過我太太懷孕，她對小孩的照顧，只有母性可達成。如果我變成女人，我想看看是否可以有更多的關懷和愛給小孩和這個世界。”
演唱會製作成本達50萬元
據主辦單位透露，五月天這回的本地演唱會製作成本高達50萬元，動用了三個40英尺大貨櫃，從香港將舞臺裝置原封不動的引進，此外，也從香港飛來10個人搭台。

因“車”，五月天的冠佑從今要把心門緊閉！

主人公冠佑談車不回避媒體，他幽默說：“還在司法調查中。我從這回的事件學到教訓，以後對待人，不能把心全掏出，一半都不行，要把心門關緊！”
冠佑就是太信任人，買舊車時，買到贓車，結果變成警方的“證人”，協助調查。他頓了頓說：“發生這樣的事，很難過，還好有四個兄弟挺我。”大家都覺得五月天歌唱事業搞得有聲有色，一定是賺了不少錢，問冠佑幹嗎那麽省，他說：“前陣子錄音室在裝修，花了很多錢，能省就省。以後直接買新車。”
阿信也幫他解釋，說他有兩個孩子，岳父又生重病，開銷大：“表面上大家看五月天出專輯、開演唱會賺很多錢，但扣一扣，實際不多。”
五月天老人之家送溫暖
五月天此行也忙碌，在出席記者會前，一團人還到位於阿裕尼的芽籠東老人之家（Geylang East Home For The Aged）送溫暖。芽籠東老人之家是SMRT銀悅基金（SMRT Silver Tribute Fund）的受益單位之一，五月天在老人之家也特地爲SMRT銀悅基金的吉祥物——一對人偶老人“揭幕”。而老人之家也安排了不少活躍的老人家，在五月天的《瘋狂世界》等兩首歌伴隨下，以舞歡迎他們的到訪。
SMRT銀悅基金成立於2006年，過去兩年爲10個志願福利機構的5000多名需要幫助的老人，籌得將近200萬元的善款。

歌手品冠昨天在台北的個人首場演唱會圓滿落幕，不但好友五月天出席、梁靜茹跨刀演唱，女友「J小姐」的媽媽也送上大束鮮花支持，可說是愛情事業兩得意。有趣的是，因五月天鼓手冠佑與品冠同樣瘦高、斯文，冠佑剛入場時，還發生被誤認的糗事，彷彿演唱會鬧雙胞。
品冠這次演唱會前三天才敲定舞步和音樂，雖然壓力很大，品冠仍順利表演完佛朗明哥舞。才剛站定，就看到冠佑拿著毛巾驚喜上台，貼心幫品冠擦汗，並笑虧：「剛剛我才從高雄結束活動趕回台北，一進會場就突然有人問我『你怎麼還沒上台？』」
沒想到品冠絲毫不動搖，馬上來一記回馬槍，幽默問近日捲入贓車案的冠佑：「演唱會結束要不要送你回家？」甚至還補充：「我知道你現在沒車。」惹得台下觀眾哄堂大笑！
演唱會上，品冠「準岳母」抱著孫子上台獻花，更成外界關注焦點。對於好友梁靜茹喜事近，為何不趁演唱會向「J小姐」求婚，只有「準岳母」上台？品冠表示，女方年紀尚輕還不急，這次「女友比較低調，所以派媽媽上台！」

五月天冠佑捲入贓車案，成為眾人笑柄，五月天19日２度為保險公司代言，冠佑被嘲易出事，得買高額保險以防萬一，他無奈說，現在心情好多了，會再買車送給老婆王行芝，方便她跑通告宣傳代言的包包。
五月天９月24至27日將在小巨蛋連唱４場，有鑒於陳奕迅唱兩場，末場卻比首場多唱80分鐘，引起歌迷不滿，阿信表示會一視同仁，４天表演都盡全力，絕不厚此薄彼。早一周開唱的蘇打綠為避免演唱超時，將從６點開唱，阿信說，配合歌迷上班上學時間，沒法提早，已做好超時演唱的準備。
品冠前晚慶功宴上，澄清不是不願向女友Jennifer求婚，而是女友低調，早警告他不得公開求婚，否則會死得很難看。

GAME ON遊戲時代特展之前已巡迴世界10國，高雄科學工藝博物館是亞洲唯一一站。昨天開幕典禮，喜歡打電動的五月天專程南下，與歌迷一起瘋電玩，被現場超過200種遊戲及復古絕種機台吸引。 主唱阿信表示，因為壓力大，常玩電動遊戲，休息的時候玩電動，可以讓自己放輕鬆，透過電玩遊戲也能吸取不一樣的經驗。 石頭則說，小時候在剉冰店前，經常花5元、10元投幣打電玩，當場被主持人虧說透露了年紀。 擺明送分還答錯

台灣人氣組合五月天的鼓手冠佑捲入贓車案，日前被警方帶回警局調查，引起台灣傳媒廣泛報道。事後冠佑火速發聲明，但就被指澄清內容前後不一，昨日冠佑再度發聲明給傳媒，大字標題寫着「盼望正確報道，盡早還我清白」。
冠佑昨日再度向媒體發聲明，他在聲明中表示：「目前該問題車的車牌，是三周前才由車商過戶到行芝（太太）的名下，在此之前，行芝未曾擁有過任何一輛車。所有關於過戶車牌的處理手續，都是由車商來收取證件後辦理的。」最後冠佑強調自己和太太也是事件受害人，希望真相能早日水落石出，還他一個清白。
